Tracking a windy and cold start to the week

TODAY: Expect much cloudier skies and higher winds. Gusts could reach up to 20 mph by the early afternoon and begin increasing up to 30 mph by this evening. There's a small chance for showers south of I-70. Temps will be slightly cooler than yesterday, topping out around the upper 40s.

MONDAY: A cold front that moves through on Sunday will bring much cooler temperatures and winds will continue. Clouds begin clearing out and we may see gusts continuing up to 30 mph for the morning and temperatures will fall into the mid-30s.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will rebound on Tuesday as winds calm down. Expect highs in the mid to low 40s for most of the week. Some disturbances moving through will try to bring rain later this week, but chances still remain slim. Sunshine will stick around with periods of cloudiness.
