Tracking another windy afternoon

wind advisory

THURSDAY: Another windy afternoon, so any outdoor burning is highly discouraged as dry as it is. Wind gusts will reach 45-50 mph today, helping us reach the low to mid 70’s.

TONIGHT: Winds settle down a bit tonight, but will keep overnight lows mild, in the low to mid 50’s.

EXTENDED:  Clouds will increase pretty quickly Friday ahead of our next system. A few sprinkles will be possible throughout the day, primarily toward the afternoon/evening hours. It looks far from a washout, but having the umbrella might come in handy tomorrow. Temperatures will get into the middle 60’s after that mild start. Some steadier rain will overspread the area overnight Friday into Saturday. Those showers will stick around throughout the day on Saturday so keep the umbrella handy. The heaviest of this will move through Saturday night into Sunday morning before moving east Sunday evening. Rain and clouds look to keep highs in the upper 40’s and low 50’s this weekend. Another storm system moves through late Monday night into Tuesday, bringing another shot at rain early next week.
