Biting cold expected Friday morning, find the winter coat

THIS AFTERNOON: Not so bad. Gusty southerly winds should keep us mild, but clouds will continue to increase. Temps will hold near 60.

TONIGHT: A cold front will move through this evening, turning winds out of a more northwesterly direction. It is still too dry for this front to kick up anything more than some cloud cover. Overnight lows will tumble all the way into the upper 20’s and low 30’s. That breeze looks to stay up overnight, making matters feel worse with wind chills in the teens by tomorrow morning.

EXTENDED: It’ll be a chilly day to end the week tomorrow. Highs will only manage the upper 40’s and low 50’s. Our next shot at some showers moves in overnight Friday into Saturday. Those showers could stick around into the afternoon on Saturday but will start to move east by the evening. It will be breezy both Saturday and Sunday. A southerly wind will help temperatures reach the upper 50’s Saturday, before turning westerly. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 50’s, but no threat of rain. We cool off to near 50 Monday and Tuesday behind another dry front, before rebounding to near 60 towards the middle of next week.
