Tracking a freezing start to change things up

chilly

WEDNESDAY: High pressure is parked on top of us this morning, which will keep things a lot quieter today. Temperatures, after a chilly start, will work into the middle 50’s with just about wall-to-wall sunshine.

TONIGHT: With those mostly clear skies sticking around, there’s not a lot keeping temperatures from falling. Overnight lows will bottom out in the middle 30’s

EXTENDED: That high will slide to our east and warm things up a touch tomorrow, getting into the upper 50’s. We’re tracking a weak frontal boundary that looks to move through Thursday evening. That will drop highs into the low 50’s to close out the week, but we’ll stay dry. What might be of more significance, is a disturbance rolling through Friday night into Saturday. This one should pick up enough moisture to bring showers to Mid-Missouri. Timing looks to be overnight Friday through Saturday morning, with a chance to impact the Mizzou game. We’ll clear out Sunday with highs near 60 before another setback Monday, dropping us into the low 50’s. We should recover to near 60 by the middle of next week.
