Tracking gusty winds, warm temperatures this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows in the upper 40s to around 50.

TOMORROW: Breezy and warm with temperatures in the low to mid-70s. Gusts between 20-25 mph.

EXTENDED: High pressure continues to slowly migrate to our east over the weekend with low pressure diving south just to our west. We'll be caught right in the middle of these two features, meaning we'll have gusty winds through the weekend and into early next week before our next system arrives. Highs through the weekend and Monday will remain in the low to mid-70s, with a cold front approaching by Tuesday morning. This front will bring needed rainfall and a few storms to Mid-Missouri through Tuesday afternoon and much cooler temperatures by Tuesday night. Lows fall into the 30s by Wednesday morning, with highs only making it to the low 50s by Wednesday. We stay near or below average temperature wise the rest of the week with a chance of a few showers on Thursday.
