Tracking clouds overnight, mild week continues

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the low 50s.

TOMORROW: Clouds exit with more sunshine and highs in the low 70s.

EXTENDED: Mild weather continues for the rest of the work week and into the weekend as upper high pressure hangs on. Temperatures reach the low 70s through Sunday, with lows falling into the mid-50s by the weekend. We begin to see some changes next week as a deep trough dives across the western U.S., bringing more active weather and cooler temperatures our way. A cold front approaches Mid-Missouri Monday into Tuesday, triggering showers and thunderstorms along with much cooler temperatures by Tuesday night and Wednesday. We'll dip back into the 30s Tuesday night with highs only reaching the 50s by Wednesday.
