Tracking showers throughout the workweek

TODAY: This weekend started off windy and warm but we'll close out cool and wet. Rain moves in this afternoon mainly focused along and south of I-70. This evening will see the most widespread chance for showers. Rainfall won't be heavy with most places seeing less than an inch through tomorrow morning.

MONDAY: Chilly and wet conditions will start the workweek as the high temperatures tomorrow struggle to reach into the low 50s. The best chance for showers on Monday will again be to the south; no intense rainfall is expected.

EXTENDED: The cold front moving through today will move south and stall to provide us with consistent rain chances. By the middle of the week it lifts back to the north as we slowly warm back into the upper 70s by Thursday. However, this warmth will quickly exit as a frontal system pushes through again and brings a cool start to next weekend.
