Tracking a big cooldown overnight

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool. Lows in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Breezy and chilly with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Mostly sunny through the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Winds die down tomorrow night, allowing temperatures to dive into the upper 30s to around 40 for Friday morning. Highs on Friday continue to be below average in the low 60s. Over the weekend, an upper level disturbance rides along a cold front on Saturday, bringing a chance for scattered showers. Rain amounts will be low, adding up to about 0.25". Rain exits before sunrise on Sunday, leaving us with clouds to start the day. We begin to warm up early next week with a largely dry pattern through much of the week. Temperatures get back into the 70s in the afternoon and lows back into the upper 40s and low 50s.
