Tracking a bright afternoon after a foggy start for some

sunny afternoon in store

THURSDAY: Some of us will get off to a foggy start this morning, especially south in the viewing area. That fog looks to burn off pretty quickly this morning, leaving us sunny for the rest of the afternoon. Highs will reach into the upper 70’s today.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will spill over into tonight, helping us cool off into the upper 50’s.

EXTENDED: Another quiet day around the corner on Friday. Temperatures will warm slightly into the low 80’s. We keep that theme going Saturday but add in some breezy southwesterly winds. Temperatures will make it into the mid to upper 80’s with some gusts around 20 mph. This is all ahead of an approaching cold front which looks to move through early Sunday morning. As it moves through, it looks to be lacking enough moisture to be too concerned with meaningful rain chances. Better bet will be some cloud cover and cooler weather, with highs in the low 80’s Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday, we’ll be tracking another push of cooler air, bringing the return of low to mid 70’s for the middle of next week. We could see overnight lows settling in the low 40’s by the end of the week.
