Tracking a gorgeous Friday, warmer weekend ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and less humid with lows in the mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and beautiful with highs in the low 80s. Low humidity continues with dew points in the 50s.

EXTENDED: After a beautiful Friday, we warm back up for the holiday weekend as temperatures climb back into the mid-upper 80s by Sunday. It's more humid by Sunday, with the heat index approaching 90 degrees. Labor Day is looking drier and warmer with a low chance for a storm and highs in the mid-80s. A cold front approaches the area on Tuesday, increasing chances for showers and storms through Thursday, depending on how quickly it slides through. If the front stays farther north, there's a chance we'll see less rain and warmer temperatures. If it moves south of us, we'll be tapping into cooler air that will bring temperatures down about 15-20 degrees below normal. Right now, there's a good possibility we'll see highs in the 60s on Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the mid to upper 40s to around 50.
