Hot and humid with a chance of storms

warm and mugy

WEDNESDAY: It's steamy and sticky out there this afternoon. Temperatures will rise to near 90, feels like temperatures will be around 95. Pack the water/sunblock if you're going to spend some time outside. A stray storm or two can't be ruled out by this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overhead will get lows back to near 70 tonight as things stay fairly muggy.

EXTENDED: Rain chances will be slim but there tomorrow. A complex of storms looks to fall apart to the west before moving in tomorrow morning. One of two of these showers may survive into the afternoon, but the latest data isn’t liking their chances. No rain would put afternoon highs back in the upper 80’s Thursday. We’ll be doing this all the way through the weekend, with low rain chances and highs in the mid to upper 80’s. By Sunday night a shift in the pattern is expected, with northwesterly flow taking over again. Highs will cool back into the upper 70’s to low 80’s by Monday and Tuesday, with overnight lows near 60!
