WEATHER ALERT DAY: Tracking high heat and possibly severe storms

MONDAY: A spotty storm or two is possible tomorrow morning, with clearing expected into the afternoon. It will be hot and humid with temperatures near and above 90 degrees. Feels like temperatures will likely be around 100 degrees. As we approach the evening, storms will likely begin developing near dinnertime. Guidance this morning suggested that we'll be seeing widespread chances for storms with isolated areas receiving heavy rainfall and gusty conditions.

TONIGHT: Storms will likely continue into the overnight hours, but we should clear out as we move into Tuesday morning. Lows will fall into the low 70s.

EXTENDED: Humidity will still be a factor as we continue throughout this next week, but temperatures will be slightly cooler thanks to the cold front that is bringing us our storm chances for this evening. We're tracking more chances for rain as we continue toward the weekend.
