Tracking the return of some cool weather finally

RAIN TODAY

MONDAY: Showers and thunderstorms have made a return this morning. These look like they'll stick around throughout the day but will be off and on. Highs will only top out in the low to mid 80's thanks to rain-cooled air and plenty of cloud cover.

TONIGHT: Rain chances will stick around tonight, but won't be as widespread. Lows will fall all the way into the 60's, for one of the cooler nights we've seen in a little while.

EXTENDED: Rain may stick around for the first part of Tuesday, but will move out by daybreak. Some of the nicest weather we've been treated to in a few weeks will move set up for the rest of the day. Highs will reach the 80's but the humidity will remind us of early Spring or Fall. Try to get out and enjoy it while we have it-rain chances move back in during the afternoon Wednesday. Another stubborn frontal boundary will bring daily rain chances through Friday, but keep highs in the middle 80's. This weekend is trending drier, but we'll be tracking that throughout the week. Cooler weather seems like it will dominate, with the 90's staying out of the area.
