We’re still stuck on repeat

TUESDAY: Today will mirror the conditions we saw yesterday with warm temperatures in the low 90s and high heat index values. We also have the possibility for another round of spot showers and storms during the afternoon into the evening.

TONIGHT: Any leftover showers and storms will clear out overnight, and temperatures will drop into the low 70s.

EXTENDED: Wednesday will be very similar to today, but change is coming. We’ll be tracking a complex of storms that looks to develop to our northwest Wednesday night into Thursday. These have a chance to roll into Mid-Missouri but look like they’ll be weakening as they do so. Where these fall apart could tell us where we see redevelopment Thursday afternoon and evening. There are still a few things about this system that we're looking to decipher, but overall, it does look to be a better chance for widespread rain chances.
