Tracking Summer as it rolls along

hot afternoon

TUESDAY: Hot and humid conditions will be the story again today. Highs will push back into the low 90’s, feeling close to 100 under partly cloudy skies. Some more pop-up storms will be possible later today but many of us look to stay dry.

TONIGHT: Any activity looks to subside after sunset with lows backing off into the low 70’s.

EXTENDED: We’ll do this all over again on Wednesday with the muggy afternoons getting into the low 90’s. We’ll be tracking a complex of storms that looks to develop to our northwest Wednesday night into Thursday. These have a chance to roll into Mid-Missouri but looks like they’ll be weakening as they do so. Where these fall apart could tell us where we see redevelopment Thursday afternoon and evening. A lot of uncertainty but the big takeaway is some better chances for rain will be centered around Thursday. Those could spill over into the first part of Friday but the afternoon looks to clear up with highs near 90. We’ll keep that going into the weekend with a better chance than not to stay dry.
