Tracking the return of storm chances to Mid-Missouri

FEATURED

THURSDAY: Another quiet afternoon with more sunshine! Temperatures will reach into the upper 80's with that humidity creeping up a bit so things will feel a bit hotter.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies hang around into the overnight hours with lows falling into the mid to upper 60's. We'll be tracking a line of storms from our northwest that could bring some showers well after midnight.

EXTENDED: The better chance of those showers and storms holding together will be north of the interstate tomorrow morning. Otherwise, storm chances will return toward the afternoon Friday with highs in the upper 80's. The frontal boundary bringing the return of these storm chances will linger through the weekend. This means just about every day through next Tuesday will feel similar, with afternoon highs in the upper 80's and daily storm chances. In between periods of storms, there will be plenty of dry time to enjoy with Dad, but Saturday and Sunday, any storms we do see could become strong.
