Tracking rain chances complicating holiday plans
WEDNESDAY: Things stay quiet again this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine with just a few passing clouds rolling through with highs in the middle 80's. Dry air still hanging on again so humidity isn't an issue today, but grab that sunscreen!
TONIGHT: A warmer night under mostly clear skies with lows falling back into the middle 60's.
EXTENDED: A bit warmer into Thursday with highs in the upper 80's but things still staying quiet. That looks like it will change into Friday. A slow-moving frontal boundary will approach the area, bringing shower and thunderstorm chances back. Timing looks like it could favor the afternoon and evening hours not only Friday, but Saturday and Sunday, too. Although we'll be looking at daily chances for rain into this holiday weekend, there will be plenty of dry time in between. Highs look to reach into the upper 80's in between these rounds of storms, so we'll be tracking the potential of any stronger storms. Things are still a bit muddy, in terms of details, this far out. Things look like they could stay active into next week with a few more disturbances moving through.
