Tracking a warmer end to the weekend

TODAY: This morning will start out relatively warm and humid, giving way to an even warmer afternoon. Highs will top out in the lower 90s, but temperatures will feel like 95-100 degrees tomorrow afternoon. With a UV index of 11 (extreme), you could burn in as little as 15 minutes, so be sure to wear that sunscreen!

TONIGHT: This evening will cool down slightly, but temperatures will still hold in those lower 70s overnight.

EXTENDED: The warmth will stick around Monday, but increasing clouds through the afternoon should slow us from getting into the 90s. These clouds will be rolling in ahead of what is left of Tropical Storm, Cristobal. Moisture from this storm is set to move in overnight Monday into Tuesday, and 1-3" of rain is possible in a short period of time. Localized flooding could be possible. An isolated tornado could also be possible due to the spin of the storm itself. Most of Cristobal's remnants will clear out by lunchtime. A strong cold from is expected to quickly follow behind Cristobal which could bring a round of severe thunderstorms into the evening on Tuesday. The main threats could include damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
