Quiet for now, tracking late week rain & snow chances

TONIGHT: What's left of today's clouds will clear out overnight. Temperatures drop to near 30 degrees.

TUESDAY: Tomorrow will be a similar day with a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 40s. Winds will remain light.

EXTENDED: Wednesday looks sunny and more mild, with temperatures jumping into the upper 40s and low 50s with increasing clouds. A cold front will stall out across the area on Thursday. Several waves of precipitation will ride along the front bringing rain Thursday night into Friday. As the cold air settles in through the evening-- frozen precipitation may become a problem. A second wave of low pressure looks to develop late Friday into Saturday with snow possible throughout the day.

Lots of changes to the forecast are LIKELY in the coming days.
