Cooling down heading into the weekend
FRIDAY: Clouds will stick around for a majority of today. That combined with some cooler air being pushed in will keep highs in the low 40s.
TONIGHT: We're tracking another disturbance diving through the Upper Midwest that could bring a few flurries overnight. Accumulations will be hard to come by on grassy, elevated surfaces. Lows fall to the low 30s.
EXTENDED: We'll be left in the cold on Saturday with breezy conditions and highs in the upper 30s, but Sunday looks salvageable. It will be breezy again to close out the weekend, but temperatures will get back into the upper 40s and low 50s. Our next chance of rain looks to hold off until Monday night as temperatures stay above average, but at this point is looking pretty meager. That system moves through by Tuesday, leaving temperatures in the low 40s but we'll recover into the upper 40s and low 50s again by Wednesday and Thursday, ahead of our next weather-maker.
