New Year New Warmth

NEW YEAR'S DAY: Lots of sunshine will warm us into the lower 50s.

TONIGHT: Some clouds will move back into the area. Lows in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Showers begin Thursday evening into Friday, ending as light snow showers through Saturday morning. Previously, we had anticipated more moisture moving into our area during the day Thursday, but latest model runs are keeping the bulk of the moisture off to our south and east. This will keep daytime showers on Thursday spotty. If we have any accumulation it will be fairly light, generally under 1/2". With this system, we will see a slight cool down throughout the end of the week, but temperatures will remain close to average before warming again by the end of the weekend.
