Warm weather continues Christmas

TONIGHT: Temperatures remain in the mid 40s overnight, under partly cloudy skies.

CHRISTMAS DAY: The Christmas thaw of 2019 continues across mid-Missouri. Temperatures will quickly jump back into the 60s to near 70 degrees area wide. Mostly sunny skies will continues, with a few high clouds possible later in the day.

EXTENDED: Things start to cool down on Thursday as a frontal boundary slides south, bringing some cloud cover with it. Most of us will stay dry as temperatures only top out in the upper 50s. Rain chances start to increase on Friday, but should be light in nature with the heavier rain slated for Saturday and lingering into Sunday. Things look to be fairly breezy this weekend, with a low pressure system winding up.
