Breaking out the shorts on Christmas?

warm holiday

CHRISTMAS EVE: Another nice day under partly cloudy skies with temperatures topping out in the mid to some upper 60's

TONIGHT: A southerly breeze keeps temperatures propped up in the middle 40s—hope the big man brought shorts.

EXTENDED: We'll keep that southerly breeze on Christmas Day as temperatures look to make a run toward 70 in the afternoon! Things start to cool down on Thursday as a frontal boundary slides south, bringing some cloud cover with it. Most of us will stay dry as temperatures only top out in the upper 50s. Rain chances start to increase on Friday, but should be light in nature with the heavier rain slated for Saturday and lingering into Sunday. Things look to be fairly breezy this weekend, with a low pressure system winding up.
