Snow will cause today

SUNDAY: We'll see snow start to move in this morning. It doesn't look to start to affect things and add up until this afternoon, when we'll see some higher snowfall rates. This first wave looks to primarily be falling in the form of snow, with about 2-3” being picked up.

TONIGHT: We'll see a break in snow falling closer toward midnight but that's being replaced by some freezing drizzle or rain. This looks to only complicate matters out on the roads, creating some slick conditions for the morning commute.

EXTENDED: Eventually, things will shift back to snow sometime after sunrise on Monday, where we'll pick up another couple of inches before this system starts wrapping up and moving on. For a full breakdown on the fine details of what to expect and where, head over to the Stormtrack Insider Blog. We'll be left in the cold in the wake of this system, with overnight lows Monday night falling into the teens and wind chills likely in the single digits. We don't warm up much on Tuesday with highs only in the 30s, but sunshine will return and start to melt some of that wintry mess. Another frigid start Wednesday morning, but we'll start to warm up by the afternoon with 40s to carry us into the weekend.
