School districts across central Missouri cancel Monday classes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Dozens of school districts in Central Missouri have called off school for Monday due to the winter storm moving through the area.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team issued a Weather Alert Day for Sunday and Monday. You can find the latest forecast here.

Columbia Public Schools and the Jefferson City School District both announced they would be closed Monday.

MU campus and UM System offices will delay opening until noon. Columbia College said it's main campus in Columbia would be closed.

Other districts including Southern Boone, Boonville and Fulton also canceled Monday classes.
