Another cold night ahead, Warming trend on the way

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will continue with overnight lows in the lower 20's. Winds will continue to weaken throughout the night. Wind chills will be in the mid-teens.

WEDNESDAY: It will be a cold start to the day with temperatures in the low 20s, but with southwesterly winds, we can expect temperatures comfortable, in the mid 40s with lots of sun in the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Temperatures are expected to continue warming throughout the work week, Thursday likely being the "best" day to get out and about. Another cold front it set to roll through the region late Friday night into Saturday which could bring some rain showers or flurries, along with much cooler air. Sunday will have to be watched for a strong area of low pressure developing over the rockies which could mix with the cold air. At this point confidence is low in terms of what we can expect… wintry weather/rain and are all possibilities at the moment. Stick with us throughout the week to get a better idea of what's to come.
