Clouds, shower chance return Thursday

LINK: Cameras & Interactive radar

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly clear skies will continue this afternoon. Temperatures will continue to hang around in the upper 40s and low 50s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear overnight with lows in the low to mid 30s.

EXTENDED: Rain chances look to hold off until the afternoon on Thursday, allowing temperatures to sneak into the low 50s again. Better chances of picking up measurable rainfall look to fall south of I-70, closer toward the lake. We will feel the cooler air being dragged out of the north as this system slides to our east. Temperatures on Friday only look to manage the low to mid 40s for highs before rebounding into the weekend with 50s. Some spotty sprinkles are possible early Friday. Rain chances close out the weekend in addition to slightly warmer weather. Much colder weather is set to arrive early next week.
