Storms continue tonight, huge cool down on the way Friday

TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms continue through mid-late evening as the cold front tracks across Mid-Missouri. Lows fall into the low 40s.

FRIDAY: Cloudy with a few early showers and chilly. Highs in the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: It’s a breezy end to the work week with wind chills on Friday afternoon and evening in the 30s. Temperatures fall into the low 30s on Saturday morning, but the stiff breeze will keep frost from being too widespread. The wind chill will stay in the upper 20s through early Saturday morning, but we recover nicely in the afternoon with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 during the day. Sunshine continues through Sunday, and we warm up into the low to mid-60s. Temperatures stay close to normal next week with highs in the mid-upper 60s.
