Grab the rain gear for Saturday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, 53.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with scattered showers. A few rumbles of thunder possible. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

EXTENDED: The cold front responsible for Saturday’s rain will push southeast, clearing out most of Mid-Missouri for Sunday. Areas south of Highway 50 could see a few more showers as rain retreats south. We start the week off dry and cool with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 40s. By the end of the week, another cold front arrives and brings a chance of more showers and storms on Thursday. This will usher in slightly cooler air for next weekend.
