Policy: Bush is a nurse and it shows in his policy positions. His focus is primarily on health care issues and Bush says health care policy should be made by experts in the field. Bush's campaign website says he will be the only nurse in the Missouri House if he is elected.

Bush says he's also a parent of children in Columbia Public Schools and will fight to support the district in the legislature. Bush says he's also a proud union member.

Bush enjoys a large fundraiser lead on his opponent, Jeff Basinger. He has received several union donations but most of his campaign funds come from individuals.

He also has the endorsement of incumbent state Rep. Doug Mann, who is stepping down because of health issues.
