Tracking warm but pleasant afternoons as dry weather persists

TODAY: I'm tracking low to mid 80s this afternoon as plentiful sunshine continues. Winds will be lighter at 5-10 mph out of the southwest while humidity remains low. This will make for a warm yet still comfortable day to be outdoors.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking mostly clear and quiet conditions as temperatures cool back into the upper 60s by the end of the night. Winds will be out of the south at 8-12 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking warmer, more summer-like weather quickly returning by Friday afternoon, with upper 80s once again in the forecast. By Saturday, slightly more cloud cover arrives with the remnants of Hurricane Isaias, leading to temperatures at most being a couple of degrees cooler than Friday, but no rainfall is expected in the area. This cloud cover exits by Saturday night, and by Sunday, the trend continues with plenty of sunshine and mid-to-upper 80s, with even hotter temperatures by Monday afternoon. By Tuesday and Wednesday, isolated chances of rainfall and slightly cooler weather arrive, but better rain chances and a more noticeable cooldown will not be expected until closer to the end of next week.
