Tracking a noticeably cooler forecast as sunshine makes a return

TODAY: I'm tracking clouds lingering for the morning hours as temperatures begin in the mid-60s, but by the afternoon hours, sunshine is expected to make a return. The northerly flow that is currently in place, thanks to the cold front that brought severe storms last night, will keep temperatures in the low to mid 70s by the afternoon hours.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a quiet and cool evening as temperatures drop into the mid-50s by the end of the night. Sky conditions will be mostly clear as winds continue out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another cool, sunny day as temperatures warm into the mid-70s by the afternoon hours. By Tuesday, slightly warmer weather in the upper 70s and low 80s can be expected, but with this will come isolated to scattered rain chances throughout the day. More showers and storms can be expected Wednesday and Thursday, with the best potential Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Wednesday, temperatures will get into the mid-80s, but after the passage of the overnight system, temperatures will only get back up into the upper 70s by Thursday afternoon. After this, a slightly drier and warmer pattern can be expected to take over for the following weekend.
