Tracking cool, dry conditions for Easter before warmer weather returns

TODAY: I'm tracking a cool but sunny start to Easter Sunday as temperatures begin in the mid-30s. Sunshine will persist throughout the afternoon hours as winds blow out of the northwest at 5-10 mph, leading to temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clear conditions persisting overnight as winds continue to blow out of the northwest at 4-8 mph. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 40s by the end of the night.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another sunshine-filled afternoon as temperatures get back up into the low 60s for Monday. Monday evening through early Tuesday morning, a brief round of light showers and unimpactful flurries is possible as temperatures drop back down into the mid-30s overnight. This will mean slightly cooler weather for Tuesday, but by Wednesday, sunshine and 70s are back in the forecast. Morning temperatures in the 50s and afternoon temperatures in the 70s will persist throughout the rest of the week into the weekend, but an active pattern will bring chances of rain as soon as Thursday. Chances for showers and storms are expected to continue throughout Friday and Saturday.
