Tracking a warm and breezy afternoon, storms developing tonight

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy and warm, with highs in the low 80s. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, but some will stay dry. Winds will be strong from the southwest, gusting up to 25 to 35 mph.

TONIGHT: Scattered storms redevelop this evening, with rain becoming more widespread after sunset. Heavy downpours are expected, and isolated hail smaller than an inch is possible. Temperatures cool to the 50s.

EXTENDED: Scattered showers and storms continue into Wednesday, though some dry time is possible tomorrow as a front lifts north, taking the heaviest rain with it. Wednesday night may then see a round of heavy storms as another front moves through the area and brings a chance of rain through Thursday. We may also see some dry time on Friday, but another round of storms will move through on Friday night and early Saturday. Conditions will dry up right in time for Easter, but expect muddy egg hunts after over 3 inches of rain this week.
