Tracking a chance for flurries and a stretch of colder weather

TODAY: I'm tracking chances for flurries during the morning hours as temperatures start in the mid-20s in Central Missouri. Trace accumulations at most are expected before sunshine makes a return by the afternoon hours, helping temperatures warm into the low 40s as winds blow out of the northwest at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking mostly clear sky conditions as winds continue to blow out of the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. These conditions will allow for temperatures to drop into the upper teens by the end of the night.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a sunny day ahead on Sunday, but breezy northwesterly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph will keep temperatures in the low 30s during the afternoon hours. Clear conditions will persist into the start of the week, and winds out of the north will allow for temperatures to drop into the low teens by Monday morning, only warming into the low 30s by the afternoon hours. Breezy southerly winds will take over Monday night into Tuesday, which will help temperatures jump into the mid-50s by Tuesday afternoon as clouds gradually enter the area. Wednesday will be even warmer as temperatures start in the low 40s and get into the low 60s, but a system is expected to move into the area Wednesday evening, bringing chances of rainfall overnight into Thursday morning. This will briefly bring slightly cooler conditions, but warmer weather overall is expected to persist into next weekend.
