Tracking more sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures

THIS AFTERNOON: Mild, but slightly cooler than yesterday, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds from the north could gust up to 20 mph.

TONIGHT: Lows fall to around freezing with clear skies and breezy northerly winds.

EXTENDED: Wednesday is even cooler, with highs near 50 degrees amid sunny skies and lighter winds. Light rain chances are expected on Thursday, with a brief break on Friday before more widespread rain on Saturday. Forecast changes are still possible, but rain is increasingly likely for Valentine's Day. Highs remain around 50 degrees through the end of the week, but we'll dry out and kick off another warmup by Sunday.
