THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly cloudy and colder, with temperatures in the 20s and wind chills in the teens. A few flurries are possible late afternoon and evening, but accumulations will be low.
TONIGHT: Flurries move south overnight, but cloud cover persists. Temperatures drop to single digits, with wind chills nearing or slightly below zero.
EXTENDED: Temperatures keep falling on Friday, with highs in the teens and feels-like temperatures in the single digits. Another round of snow is possible late Friday afternoon and evening, but accumulations will stay light. An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day will go into effect Saturday morning as wind chills plunge well below zero, ranging from -10 to -15 degrees. Wind chills will stay in the low single digits on Saturday and fall into the negative single digits Saturday night. A warm-up is expected by Sunday, with temperatures returning to the 20s and 30s throughout next week. There may be another chance for flurries on Sunday, and a wintry system could develop midweek.
