Tracking cloudier skies today, big warmup this week

TODAY: Increasing clouds, with afternoon temperatures climbing into the low 40s. Winds from the south could reach 20 mph by the end of the day.

TOMORROW: Sunnier and warmer, with highs jumping to the 60s. Winds will be lighter out of the south and west.

EXTENDED: A cold front will subtly move through the area Monday night, bringing a quick round of clouds and cutting a few degrees off of the forecast on Tuesday. We'll still flirt with the 60-degree mark through Wednesday before widespread showers move in on Thursday. There is some uncertainty around the timing and amount of rain, but a quarter to half inch of rain is possible for most. Temperatures will begin to cool next weekend, with highs dropping back into the 40s as early as Friday.
