Tracking a mild Christmas Eve and fog for Christmas morning

TODAY: I'm tracking a warm afternoon as temperatures get into the upper 60s by the afternoon hours. A mix of clouds and sun will be present as winds blow out of the southwest at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking temperatures only cooling into the low 50s by the end of the night as more clouds and fog make a return. Winds will be shifting into the north at 5-10 mph throughout the overnight hours.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a cloudy and mild start to Christmas Day, with clouds gradually decreasing through the afternoon hours as temperatures warm into the mid-60s. More sunshine and warmer weather will stick around for Friday and Saturday as temperatures warm into the upper 60s and low 70s by the afternoon hours. A significant cooldown will arrive by Sunday, as temperatures drop all the way into the mid-30s by the morning hours. Chances of precipitation are expected through Sunday as temperatures plummet. This much cooler weather will last through the start of next week.
