Tracking a mix of rain and snow today
TODAY: Snow changes to rain areawide before lunchtime. The afternoon will be slushy and cold in the upper 30s. A light round of flurries is possible in the evening after temperatures drop below freezing. Snow accumulation could reach 1" for areas along Hwy 63, with 2 to 3 inches possible further northeast.
TOMORROW: Some overpasses could be slick early Sunday with morning temperatures in the low 20s, and we remain frigid all day with the wind chill in the 20s. Gusty winds from the west will be sustained between 10 to 15 mph, and could gust up to 30 mph.
EXTENDED: We'll start Monday off bitterly cold with lows in the teens and highs only making the mid-20s. Another system moves in with drier air in place on Monday, and a chance at light snow. Little to no accumulation is expected. The rest of the week is looking quite cold with highs in the 30s and lows in the upper teens to around 20.Â
