Tracking sunny skies and warm late fall temperatures
THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and mild, with highs in the mid-60s. Winds from the north may gust up to 20 mph after a cold front passed through early in the day.
TONIGHT: Skies remain clear through sunset as temperatures fall into the 50s in the early evening. Lows drop to the low 40s and upper 30s.
EXTENDED: The rest of the week looks mostly sunny and warm, with highs in the 60s and a few showers possible on Friday morning. Rain amounts will be next to zero, and another round of rain tracks north of the area on Saturday. Conditions look mostly dry at Faurot Field for Mizzou football on Saturday afternoon, but a stray shower can't be ruled out yet. A steep cooldown is expected next week, with lows dropping just below freezing on Saturday night, and highs in the 30s on Sunday. Low temperatures drop even further to the lower 20s on both Sunday and Monday nights before a warmup into the middle of next week.
