Tracking a few more rainy days before sunshine returns

TONIGHT: I'm tracking rain chances exiting the region through the rest of the evening. Clouds will persist overnight as temperatures slowly cool into the low 50s and winds blow out of the southeast at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking a cloudy but drier day as temperatures gradually warm into the mid 50s by the afternoon hours. Winds will blow out of the southeast at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph, and light but brief showers could be possible through the day.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking better chances of rainfall by Tuesday afternoon, lingering through most of Wednesday. Rain exits the region by Thursday morning, leaving temperatures in the upper 30s walking out the door. Cool mornings and dry, brisk afternoons with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s will last into the weekend. This means it will be a dry evening for trick-or-treating Halloween evening on Friday.
