Tracking several rounds of storms and milder temperatures this week

TODAY: Partly sunny in the morning, with cloud cover increasing through the day. Highs reach the low 80s in the early afternoon. Rain chances increase after 3 or 4 p.m., with scattered to widespread storms into the evening and overnight.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and mild with a high of 80 degrees. Spotty showers are possible throughout the day, but most will stay dry.

EXTENDED: Rain chances increase again by Tuesday and Wednesday as low pressure tracks just south of the area. This will bring several rounds of soaking showers and storms through the middle of the week. Some drought relief is expected, with rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches for most. Showers may linger on Thursday and Friday, but late week overall looks drier and mild with highs in the 70s into next weekend.
