Tracking hot temperatures and pop-up storms today

TODAY: Partly cloudy and hot with high temperatures in the mid-90s. Isolated storms are possible in the afternoon and evening.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with another chance of pop-up storms in the afternoon. Highs remain in the lower to mid-90s.

EXTENDED: Pop-up storms will be possible again on Tuesday as temperatures remain hot in the low 90s. A slow-moving system will arrive by the middle of the week, increasing rain chances from Wednesday through Thursday. Rain totals are still fairly light, up to an inch in the wettest spots. Temperatures drop below 90 by Thursday, and next weekend is more seasonal in the low 80s.
