Tracking a gloomy Friday and a nicer day for Mizzou football tomorrow

TODAY: Mostly cloudy and mild, with temperatures in the 60s. Scattered light showers are possible throughout the afternoon and early evening. Rainfall will be very light, totaling up to a few tenths of an inch.

TONIGHT: Most areas north of I-70 will see rain exit by dinnertime, but showers will continue in southern Missouri into the early overnight. Temperatures will be chilly by Saturday morning, with lows near the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: The weekend will be perfect at Faurot Field with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the 70s at kickoff. Sunday will be just as pleasant, with continued sunshine and mid-70s. Temperatures will rise back to the 80s by Monday, and summer-like weather is expected later in the week, with highs reaching the upper 80s and no rain in sight.
