Tracking spot showers and cooler weather for Labor Day
TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures starting in the low 60s walking out the door, only warming up into the low 70s by the afternoon hours as winds blow out of the northeast at 5-10 mph. Mostly cloudy sky conditions are expected with spot showers possible throughout the day.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking temperatures once again starting in the low 60s before gradually warming up into the mid 70s by the afternoon hours. Clouds will persist across the area as spot shower chances continue during the day.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking one more day of potential rainfall on Wednesday as temperatures warm into the low 80s by the afternoon hours. A cold front is set to pass through Missouri Wednesday evening, and the effects will be fully realized by Thursday morning. Temperatures will start in the low 50s, only warming up into the low 70s by Thursday afternoon. This trend paired with dry weather will persist into the weekend hours.
