Tracking a pleasant and sunny start to the holiday weekend

TODAY: Mostly sunny and warm, with highs in the lower to mid-80s.

TONIGHT: Quiet with evening temperatures in the 70s for football games and lows bottoming out in the low 60s.

EXTENDED: The weekend remains pleasant, with temperatures in the mid-80s and lots of sunshine on Saturday. Sunday will be a few degrees cooler in the lower 80s as cloud cover increases, but dry conditions are still expected throughout the weekend. Low rain chances are possible on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but measurable rain is limited. Rain totals are expected to reach only a few tenths of an inch throughout the forecast. A cold front will move through between Wednesday and Thursday, bringing cooler temperatures for the end of next week.
