Tracking intense heat before a mid-week cooldown

TONIGHT: I'm tracking isolated storms possible throughout the rest of the evening, but most will stay dry as temperatures drop into the mid 70s by the end of the night. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-8 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking extreme heat continuing as temperatures feel like 105-107 degrees by the afternoon hours. Winds will be out of the southwest at 8-12 mph with a few clouds expected throughout the day.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking triple digit heat lasting into Tuesday before relief arrives Wednesday afternoon thanks to a cold front. With this persistent extreme heat, an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is in effect for this time period. This cold front will bring storm chances throughout Wednesday before cooler weather takes over Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, temperatures will only be in the upper 70s, and this trend will continue into next weekend.
