Tracking daily rain chances early this week

TODAY: Scattered showers and storms return in the morning and afternoon, keeping temperatures a few degrees cooler in the low 80s. Dry time is expected late in the day as rain chances decrease in the late afternoon and evening.

TOMORROW: Rain chances move south early Monday, allowing temperatures to rise back to the mid-80s. Scattered storms may drift into southeast Missouri and the Lake region by late afternoon and evening, but areas north of I-70 remain dry.

EXTENDED: Daily rain chances remain possible throughout the week, especially from Tuesday to Thursday, as a front lifts north of the area. Temperatures will gradually climb into the mid to upper 80s through midweek. The front will linger later in the week and could lead to continued daily rain chances through Friday and early next weekend as it tries to push back into the region.
