Tracking storm chances and slightly cooler weather arriving
TONIGHT: I'm tracking showers and storms falling apart by sundown, leaving most of mid-MO with a quiet night. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s by the end of the night as winds blow out of the southwest at 7-10 mph.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking isolated showers and storms becoming possible by 7-9 am, with a more widespread round arriving in the evening/overnight hours. This will last through Monday morning, and could produce strong winds at times with areas to the north of I-70 being the most likely to observe the strongest storms. Temperatures will reach into the mid 80s by the afternoon hours.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking storms exiting through Monday morning, leaving behind clouds and cooler temperatures in the mid 80s. Sunshine returns by Tuesday and persists throughout the majority of the week, with mid to upper 80s staying in the forecast. Humidity will be calming down as well, providing more relief from the heat that has been seen in the state. Towards the end of the week, isolated showers and storms will once again be possible.
